The ActiTrainer and Sleep

Recent studies have shown that the amount and quality of sleep we get have a strong influence on our level of fitness. When we don’t
sleep well, we tend to be less physically active, which over time, can lead to significant weight gain.  On the other hand, when we are
physically active during the day, we tend to sleep better at night. The ActiTrainer is the first device available that allows you to see
how your daily activity affects your sleep patterns and how your sleep patterns affect your activity levels.

Wear the ActiTrainer to bed on your wrist or upper arm, and the Virtual Trainer’s ActiSleep feature will use a scientifically validated
formula to calculate the number and length of each nighttime awakening. Based on these awakenings, the ActiSleep then assigns
your sleep a total efficiency rating. For a complete assessment of your sleep, you can even monitor your heart rate over night!
